MANILA, PHILIPPINES — In an increasingly visual entertainment and creative industry, artist Ralfh Gallegos (@ralfhgeraldgallegos) is building a career at the intersection of acting, fashion design, and modeling. His multidisciplinary approach has positioned him as a rising jack-of-all-trades in fashion and on-screen performer within the Philippines’ independent creative community.
AS A FASHION CREATIVE
Gallegos brings an unusual combination of performance experience and visual design expertise to every project. As a Filipino creative fashion figure, he understands that there is more to clothes. That is why he shares his explorations through his creative Instagram page: @thoughtstiles.studio
Included in his recent works as a wardrobe head is the short film “Where the Cave Ends,” by Dir. Nix Vergara of Sineninix, which was a part of the Binisaya Film Festival 2026 official entries. Another piece of his, which he calls “Thousand-Knot Top,” was also featured as a part of the creative performance of Jenny Logico-Cruz’ “More is More (or Less).”
On his memorable experiences of dressing stars for the red carpet, Ralfh is also the one behind the “Pomocea Caranaculata” (formerly disclosed as “Pomocea Maculata”) worn by one of the Philippines’ representatives for the Cannes Film Festival 2025.
AS AN ACTOR
His creative background extends into the world of independent cinema and TV commercials. With his shaved head and tall stature, his look can easily be distinguished. Gallegos has appeared in Filipino short films of independent productions, including “Good Mourning” by Dir. Karla Louis Amhan & “Kangaroo Court” and “Between Two Worlds,” both by Dir. Carlos Julag-ay. His acting experience has exposed him to a wide range of characters and creative environments, strengthening his ability to translate concepts into compelling visual performances.
Based on his social updates, some of his upcoming films include “No Mad is an Island,” by Dir. Carl Geronimo, a Puregold Cinepanalo Festival entry under the category of student shorts; “What Lies Between” by Dir. Ryan Orduna of Spark Studios, which was a part of the 2025 Sumedang Short Film Festival; and “Aninaw,” a World War 2 film by Dir. Arthur Eustaquio under Likhaya Productions, also a part of Puregold Cinepanalo under the new category of Panorama Shorts.
One of his notable strengths is his multilingual background. With a bachelor’s degree in secondary education, majoring in teaching English, from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Ralfh has extended his formal and personal studies in foreign languages, with a primary focus on East and Southeast Asian national languages and a secondary focus on some common European Romance languages. His ability to portray roles of different nationalities demonstrates the flexibility that he brings to screen projects.
AS A MODEL
Apart from dressing people, Gallegos also does modeling for both commercial and fashion purposes. Demonstrating versatility, he is seen often in on-screen advertisements, commonly with different comedic skits and behaviors, and, whenever booked for fashion, his fierce face comes prepared for the camera.
With a broad set of skills comes the complication of handling multiple roles. One may begin to question how Ralfh handles it all and also what is next to be released. Someone styled? A new film? Recently released commercial? A presented fashion collection? There is no pattern to base it on.
But maybe the excitement comes from the unpredictability, that no one knows what is next for this creative.
