As Justin Melton a seasoned athlete with an impressive track record in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), with 4-peat PBA Championship Games and Slam Dunk Champion Title, Justin Melton brings a wealth of knowledge and is dubbed as “The Highest Jumping Filipino” with a Vertical Jump of 44 inches. Known for his agility, speed, and explosive moves on the court, Justin is now channeling his expertise to help aspiring athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals looking to elevate their performance.

Justin Melton retired early this year at an age of 35 and has seamlessly shifted from the hardwood to the world of fitness and athleticism. Leveraging his extensive experience as a professional basketball player, Justin is excited to announce the launch of his revolutionary plyometrics training program.

The Justin Melton Scholars

To help us appreciate what plyometric exercises can do to significantly impact performance of aspiring athletes and to show proof of his concept, Justin Melton took in 13 Scholars – aged 14 to 29 years old – selected from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao and the USA for an 8-week online plyometrics training program with regular check-ins. The program includes a weekly workout regimen with instructional videos produced by Justin Melton himself.

All scholars are aspiring athletes who were selected based on their intermediate skills,  willingness to learn and commitment to do the online program over 8 weeks. Their vertical jump was measured at the beginning of the program and 4 weeks into the program, two of the scholars can already dunk for the first time in their life.

Official Results of the scholars will be unveiled at the official launch on December 17, 2023.

The Vision

Justin Melton’s vision goes beyond the traditional bounds of sports training. The Launch

Justin Melton is very excited for the official launch of PLYO PROS on December 17, 2023, 6:00 – 8:00 PM happening at Pretty Huge Gym (2F, Bonifacio Civic Center Tower, McKinley Pkwy, Taguig).

The scholars of the plyometrics program along with BNI members who have attended the adult basketball clinics will be attending the launch.

He has also invited his former PBA teammates and coaches to attend this momentous event.
