The stage is set for the first-ever Filipino Music Awards (FMAs), a landmark celebration of Original Pilipino Music (OPM). Adding to the grandeur, the evening will also feature world-class performances from OPM’s
biggest acts, uniting generations of standout Filipino talent on one stage. The FMAs features a star-studded lineup, with performances by SB19, BINI, IV OF SPADES, Lolita Carbon, Yeng Constantino, BGYO, Maki, Ely Buendia, Ben&Ben, Gloc-9, and Apl.de.Ap, with live musical scoring from the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. These performers embody the FMAs’ vision of honoring both established icons and the next wave of Filipino artistry, and are set to provide audiences with a landmark musical experience worthy of the inaugural FMAs.

The show is helmed by none other than Johnny Manahan, also known as “Mr. M.” With a
prolific career spanning decades, the renowned director and starmaker has been dubbed a
visionary of the screen and stage. He has directed iconic variety shows ASAP and Wowowee, overseen the televised coverage of Miss Earth, and staged local and international concerts, from Gary V. and Martin Nievera’s first collaboration concert to the Philippine shows of Barry Manilow and Andrea Bocelli. Now, he brings his expertise to the inaugural FMAs, setting the stage for a historical celebration of OPM.
